2019-2020 Executive Council Election Results
The AAPOR 2019-2020 Executive Council election closed on April 1 and 34.23% percent of eligible AAPOR members voted. Please join me in thanking all of our colleagues who stood for election, and in congratulating our new Executive Council members whose terms begin at the upcoming 74th Annual Conference in Toronto, Canada:

Student Corner: Greetings from the AAPOR Welcoming Committee!
Our group is here for all members and conference-goers who are students, early-career professionals or newer to AAPOR. Leading up to the conference we’ll be offering several things to keep an eye out for: roommate matching to offset lodging costs, FAQ sheets to ask and answer questions, guides to the conference, invitations to social events, and much more! Stay tuned for membership spotlights and other great ways to learn about AAPOR in the coming months. In the meantime, think about becoming involved in AAPOR as a volunteer - it’s a great way to network and get to know your fellow AAPORites. AAPOR’s Got Talent (AGT)
The submission window for the AGT competition for the 2019 Conference is now closed. Finalists will be announced in February. Information about AGT and updates from two of last year’s finalists can be found online. Opportunities are available to sponsor AGT at the 2019 conference. Organizations interested in becoming sponsors of the 2019 AGT Competition should contact Tonya Cabrera at AAPOR Headquarters
Chapter Spotlight: PANJAAPOR
PANJAAPOR has continued to provide PA, NJ, and surrounding AAPORites opportunities for networking, continuing relationships, and learning about what’s new in public opinion research.
Our fall event featured Dr. Don Levy, Director of the Siena College Research Institute. Dr. Levy spoke about Sienna College Research Institute’s work with the NYTimes Upshot and their collaborative effort to conduct live polls in key congressional districts in the lead up to the 2018 midterm election.
2019-2020 Executive Council Election
The newest slate of candidates for AAPOR’s Executive Council will be announced to the membership on February 25. Voting will begin in early March.

Conference Registration is Open
Registration for the 2019 Annual Conference in Toronto, Ontario, Canada is open. Register today before rates increase on March 1, 2019!
As a reminder, Canadian law requires that all persons entering Canada carry both proof of citizenship and proof of identity. A valid U.S. passport, passport card, or NEXUS card satisfies these requirements for U.S. citizens.
