Education Committee Update

11/18/2022

After a great year of learning opportunities through AAPOR’s webinars and short courses, we are gearing up for 2022. Calls for both short course and webinar topics (with links to online submission forms) will be distributed later this summer and proposals will be due in early fall. If you have an idea for a webinar or short course you would like to see offered, please reach out to Online Education Subcommittee Chair Florian Keusch and Short Course Subcommittee Chair Doug Currivan.

New this fall: We will offer our first short course outside of the conference schedule – Introduction to Sampling by Rick Valliant. Please be on the lookout for an announcement as space will be limited.

The Online Education Subcommittee has been hard at work revising prices and options for institutional subscriptions. A new price schedule, offering greater flexibility and “build-your-own” webinar kit options, is expected in 2022.

Our 2021 webinar series continues in the summer with the following topic and speaker:

August 27: How to Keep Up within your Field: Strategies for Continuous Learning (professional development webinar) – Mario Callegaro
