W.E.B. Du Bois Student Scholar Program Open for Applications

In partnership with AAPOR, the  is seeking a graduate student to assist with the development of educational materials. Efforts are primarily focused on developing introductory-level instructional materials in public opinion survey research for use by educators. Scholars will also participate in weekly conversations with leaders in the field of polling research. The entire scholar program is conducted remotely.

 receive a $5,000 compensation and a complimentary AAPOR membership in exchange for roughly 10 hours of effort per week during the months of June, July, and August. This program is open to all graduate students currently enrolled in a U.S. college or university.

We encourage applications from all qualified individuals, including students who identify as members of groups that have been underrepresented in the field of polling research. Consideration will be given to applications that embody the principles and values advocated by W.E.B. Du Bois.
