Current 10/2023

After receiving input from conference volunteers and AAPOR Executive Council members, the schedule for 2024’s Annual Conference has been revised from last year’s schedule to improve the flow of events.  Most notably, the Presidential Address will now kick off the conference, a change that is intended to inform the attendees about the state of the association and energize them as the navigate the conference in the following days. Other changes to the schedule were made for several reasons including rising costs of hosting a conference, reducing food waste, and, perhaps most importantly, preserving and maximizing attendance at three core events that are an important part of AAPOR’s history and culture: the Presidential Address, the Awards Banquet, and the plenary.  While this does remove one of the previously included lunches, this free time will allow attendees to catch up with friends and colleagues or develop new networks during the Wednesday and Thursday free lunch times.
